About The Heights Menomonie

The Heights Menomonie is a student‑focused residential community dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging living environment for its residents. As a Community Assistant, I played a key role in fostering connection, supporting daily operations, and ensuring residents felt welcomed and cared for throughout their time at the property.

In this position, I served as a primary point of contact for residents, helping create a positive living experience through communication, problem‑solving, and community engagement. My work blended customer service, administrative support, and event coordination — all centered around building a friendly and inclusive environment.

My responsibilities included:

  • Assisting residents with questions, concerns, and maintenance requests

  • Managing front‑desk operations and providing in‑person support

  • Conducting tours for prospective residents and families

  • Supporting leasing efforts through communication and follow‑ups

  • Helping plan and execute community events and activities

  • Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in shared spaces

This role strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, and build relationships with a diverse community of residents.​​

As a Digital Marketing student, I was also tasked with creating content for our social channels and monthly newsletters for the residents. You can find examples of these below.
